It's your birthday today, WOHOOO!!!

Yeah…actually about that. I’m really sorry I can’t be with you today and celebrate with you. Not like I was planning to throw a huge party or anything.

I’m so excited for you and I’m not even on the same continent as you! 

Thank you for being who you are. I can come to you about different situations and insecurities and get your (occasionally brutal but always with good intent) honest thoughts about what’s going on, regardless of if it’s what I want to hear or not. You remind me that it’s okay to not be happy and energetic all the time, but also tell me when it’s time to get over myself and move on from things I’m dwelling on from the past.

Thanks for being you, my dude. Even when you do things that you don’t think are out of the ordinary or particularly special, you still manage to inspire me and teach me.
